Founded Next Wave Life to introduce the joy of JetBoarding to a wider audience, addressing the challenge of accessibility in the sport. Led the brand from inception, managing all aspects of the business, from technical infrastructure to customer engagement and instruction.

Developed and managed a high-performance website, optimizing user experience and site speed. Created a custom WordPress theme with TailwindCSS, establishing minimum viable brand identity and content management. My purpose in this endeavour has been to bring smiles to faces and feet, on, boards.

Customized TailwindCSS and TailwindUI components, incorporating customizations to create bespoke blocks with ACF Pro. Ensured built-in styles with flexible colour and content options, maintaining a high Google PageSpeed score. Serving images using the imgIX service, in conjunction with GitLab Repo, CI, and Digital Ocean Spaces optimized. The development, staging, and production environments were established to allow seamless transitions for any individual or team to take over without disruption. I developed a custom TailwindCSS WordPress theme utilizing the native WordPress Block API — an engaging and insightful project.

Cultivated a community of JetBoarding enthusiasts, from novices to adept riders.

Discovered the intrinsic value of aligning personal passion with professional endeavours, leading to substantial personal and business growth. I also had a chance to meet Adam Wathan — CEO of Tailwind Labs and creator of TailwindCSS over the summer @ TailWindConnect 2023.
