JasonB Digital (“jasonb.digital”) collects limited personal information to provide professional services and improve the website experience. Information is gathered through two primary channels: voluntary form submissions and automated analytics.

Analytics & Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the site. GA4 collects anonymised data including pages visited, session duration, approximate geographic location, device type, and referral source. Google Analytics sets cookies (primarily _ga and _ga_*) that persist for up to two years.

No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to Google Analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled by default in GA4. Visitors may opt out of analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by configuring browser cookie settings.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months to maintain records of client communication. Analytics data is retained within Google Analytics according to the configured retention period of 14 months. Data no longer required for its original purpose is deleted or anonymised.

Visitors have the right to request access to any personal data held about them, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of personal data, and withdraw consent for data processing at any time. Canadian residents are protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
